Janet's Story
I am a teacher, mother, grandmother, wife and retired!!! I changed careers midway and became a healthcare administrator. Since I have retired seven years ago my husband and I travel to many interesting places, and we live in Florida in the winter.
I also volunteer as a docent at the Field Museum in Chicago. I take people on highlights tours, tours of our ancient Egyptian Exhibit and special temporary exhibits. I enjoy writing, art and recently took up making jewelry. My greatest joys are my granddaughters. I have...Expand for more
two, one lives five minutes away from me and the other lives in Phoenix. Kaitlyn who lives near me is my little buddy and we share many afternoons doing fun things.....then returning her to her parents so I can recuperate....she will be three in January. Sarah is 15 months old. Oh yes, I have a son and a daughter also, but the granddaughters are so much more fun. If I had known I would have skipped my son, Daniel (age 38) and daughter Karen,(age 34) and gone right to the grandchildren!! Just kidding, of course.
